Early Scanner Meeting Minutes and Correspondence

Minutes and correspondence relating to two early ad hoc meetings arranged by the DHSS for the exchange of knowledge and experience between whole body scanner users and the formulation of future plans by the DHSS. The first of these meetings was held on 3rd May, 1976 in Hannibal House, London, and was referred to as an EMI Body Scanner Meeting. The second meeting was held on 26th November, 1976, at Hannibal House, and was referred to as the EMI Body Scanner Co-ordinating Group. Both meetings were attended by representatives of the DHSS and university departments or hospitals which had a whole body scanner at that time.
