Administrative / Biographical History

The scheme provided financial help for long term absence through illness and was arranged in consultation with Legal & General Assurance Society Limited by Sedgwick Financial Services Ltd. It provided employees with a regular income in addition to their National Insurance benefit if they were off ill for more than six months. Costs of the scheme were borne entirely by the company.
