Unable to attend meeting; recommends they should desire Commissary Ross to wait on Gen. Monck 'for obviating the prejudices prepared by others, both as to the impeding of the privieleges of the Stewartrie, and also missinterpreting the actions and dispositions of the inhabitants thereof, in relation to the desired approbation of his Excellencies undertakings at his going to England'.
