In 1985, an expansion of the Banbury Monthly Meeting was proposed. The plan was to unite Banbury Monthly Meeting with other, somewhat isolated, Preparative Meetings (PM) from neighbouring Monthly Meetings (MM). Between 1985 and 1987, work went ahead to unite the Preparative Meetings of Evesham, Littleton, Broad Campden, Sibford, Banbury, and Ettington under the title of Banbury and Evesham Monthly Meeting.
The Banbury Monthly Meeting, comprising Banbury and Sibford Preparative Meetings, were joined by the Evesham and Littleton Preparative Meetings from the Worcestershire and Shropshire MM, Broad Campden PM from the Gloucestershire and Nailsworth MM, and Ettington PM from the Warwickshire MM.
