Scope and Content

Copy letter from Bristol to Thomas Morrell in America, comparing the number of new converts in the United States, especially Virginia and Maryland, with those in England and Ireland.

He asks Morrell to write to him before Coke leaves for the West Indies in September or October [ 1790]. Morrell should also write to John Wesley, who is complaining that he hears very seldom from 'any of his sons in the United States'.

Reference also is made to the flourishing state of the West Indian Mission.
