These records consist of the minutes of the Executive Council and of General Representative Meetings, which dealt with Provincial and Bolton Branch issues. BCS2/1/1/1-3 are the minute books of one of BOCSPA's predecessor organisations, the Bolton Hand Mule Spinners Association. The minutes were reprinted in the Reports of the Association (BCS1/1). The series also includes rough minute books for the period 1942-1957.
