Letter from R. Kenrick at Chiswell Street to his father and mother at Wynn Hall

Scope and Content

Regrets the fact that he must always be "hanging on your kindness"; acknowledges all the help he receives from friends and family - "Aunt W[?itton] lodges & feeds me, my kind Affectionate Sisters have bestowed part of their well earned property & I am still a burthen to you my kind Parents..."; in return he can only offer his own virtue and industry. Writes of his lectures at the College of Surgeons; he has now "entered to the Dissections & demonstrations". Is working hard, but often thinks of home and Pentryfellyn [sic]
