Each page contains debits and credits for an account and includes column headings entitled: date, folio of minute book, folio of corresponding credit, corresponding credit and items, totals, folio of corresponding debit, and corresponding debit and items. This volume contains various accounts including: salaries and wages account, provisions account, clothing account, surgery and expenses account, union accounts, maintenance account, temporary accommodation account, new building account, water supply account, excess account, private patients account which includes names of patients and the amount they are paying, and Ablett Fund Account. For a complete list of accounts included in this ledger see index in front of volume. Page 107 includes a balance sheet, signed and authorised by the district auditor.
