Owens College Extension - Report to the Extension Committee of an inspection of the universities and science schools of Germany, 1868. The report was written by Greenwood and Roscoe, and details conditions at several German and Swiss universities, including professors and assistants' emoluments, building and laboratory facilities, methods of teaching and relations with government.
