Minutes of the Western Committee of the Colonial Missionary Society, which administered mission activity in Canada, Newfoundland and the West Indies, including Jamaica and British Guiana. Minutes include the report of the deputation by the CMS, London Missionary Society and the Congregational Union of England and Wales to the West Indies in 1908. The minutes contain information regarding the administrative work in relation to the mission fields. In March 1922, it was decided that the work of the Western Committee and the Eastern Committee would be united into the one committee called the Field Committee. From this point, the minutes include information relating to 'Eastern' fields such as South Africa, India and Australia.
