EXAMINATION AND DEPOSITION: Owen Hughes, police constable and Thomas Lewis of Tymawr, farmer, both of Aberffraw in the case v. John Owen accused of stealing 20lbs of culm [coal dust] the property of T.L. Deponent states he was keeping watch over a heap of culm near the lime kiln at Trwyn du, Aberffraw, when he saw the accused fill a bag with culm.
