From C[atherine] Sleep in Kidderminster to Mary Tooth in Madeley. Catherine is most obliged for Tooth’s kindness in ‘interesting yourself in my little affair.’ She has asked William to reply, but he says that he cannot stay just now. He thinks that he may be able to accompany Catherine to Madeley provided that he can get a replacement preacher for one or two places at the beginning of the week. Catherine was thinking about coming on Monday if all is well. The coach leaves Kidderminster about the middle of the day and if the coach is as full as it sometimes is, or something else intervenes, perhaps she will leave on Tuesday instead.
