Report by Ann Sedley dated Oct 1989 on the work of the Anti-Racism Consortium: describes its formation in 1984; its structure and membership; staffing; the difficulties that it encountered; the winding up of the ARC in 1988. Each of the four founding organisations are discussed in some detail (MA on pp22-28), and the impact of the Consortium on their work and policies is discussed. Other documents in the file concern the work of consultants investigating the degree of diversity awareness in MA, including a report dated May 2002; an undated brief written for consultants probably relates to this work
