The identity of the compiler of this item is unknown. It has been suggested that he or she was aresident of East Bridgeford, Nottinghamshire. The cash book indicates that the writer was wealthyand made payments for horses, housekeeping and goods and services provided by over 50 differentpeople, including several members of the Caunt family.
