29 Jan 1886 (postmark). Directions on postcard re L Wilson and HJ Wilson obviously refer to arrangements for speakers at the annual meeting (evening public meeting) of the LNA which was held that year on 10 Feb at Exeter Hall. JB herself was too ill to attend; and both the Butlers went abroad early in Feb. 'HJ Wilson ought to speak as having charge of the Resolution on the 16. 22 Jan Mr HJ Wilson gave notice to move on 16 Feb that the CD Acts ought to be repealed (had to be put off). House adjourned in consequence of change of Govt from 6-18 Feb. Finally: 16 Mar Mr Stansfeld moved the Resolution. See RR 494 and 498. Biog: Miss Lucy Wilson; HJ Wilson.
