Asks her to consult someone as to what is to be done with Lady Frederick Cavendish (her letter enclosed) 'Surely she cannot have seen our Memorandum which deals fully with the matter...of course we approve of 'moralising efforts' but we do not think that compulsory detention of women in hospital answers, it never has done so'
