This class consists of programmes for stage and film productions in which RD was involved. The bulk of the material relates to the theatre and covers a considerable period, from RD's earliest parts in repertory through to his final performance in 1953. His work with Frank Benson's Company, Liverpool Playhouse, Cambridge Festival Theatre, touring productions and in the West End, is all well represented. There is also a small number of programmes for films in which he starred. FRD1/3/6 consists of three modern photocopies of original theatre programmes, made before the archive came to the Library.

Scope and Content
Arrangement
The programmes had largely been arranged and categorised by John Donat before their arrival at the Library, and few changes have been made; the sub-classes into which the material is divided reflect the original divisions in the material. Within each sub-class the programmes are arranged chronologically. All items consist of one sheet of paper (usually folded to form two folios) unless stated otherwise.
