Scope and Content

Notebook in Gustav Holst's hand, briefly detailing diary appointments, notes on pupils and their progress, and notes on music performances, including music at St Pauls Girls' School. Dated January 1916, addressed at St Pauls Girls' School, Brook Green. Envelope notes '(details of Whitsun 11th June i.e. Fri. 9th June- Mon 12th)'.

Also includes an astrological diagram entitled 'Finishing [Neptune]' dated 4.34pm Jan 13 1916, using astrological symbols drawn from his study of the subject during composition of The Planets, 1914-1916.
