Copy letter from Robert Lockhart to Frederick Lanchester, asking him to give some comments on a paper to be delivered by a student

Scope and Content

The paper, on sound and light, is to be given to the Anatomical and Anthropological Society of Birmingham University. Lockhart has given the student (named McDonald) some of Lanchester's work on the visual path, and adds that the student mentioned a lecturer at Glasgow University who insisted that Lanchester had not received the recognition he deserved for his work on aeronautics 'but that without doubt statues will be erected in due course'.
