Scope and Content

Correspondence with and about Winifred [Freda] Starkey, and related papers, concerning her training and preparation as a missionary, her record of service as a missionary to the Hakka people from 1913 to 1951, detailed medical records, a typed account of her escape from Wuking-fu [Wujing] in 1925 and miscellaneous correspondence dated 1945 to 1968.
