Typescript letter, in which Withers invites Beaton to take part in a new project to celebrate the opening of their new office, Vogue House, in Hanover Square. She writes that they are planning a feature and would like Beaton to contribute a short piece on the subject of 'Vogue' and its place in the world, which, together with other similar contributions, will offer a sense of how the magazine has developed ove rthe years. Instead of a fee, Withers hopes that Beaton will accept a case of champagne. They would require a copy of the piece by 21st May.
