Partly typewritten and printed, partly autograph correspondence (and enclosures) between Hughes and Faber and Faber. Some letters contain requests for permission to use Hughes's works, whilst others contain queries, details about rights and discussions about the publications of particular collections of poetry and prose. Includes two letters about the possible publication of a fishing anthology, which Hughes was planning to compile with Ehor Boyanowsky. Later letters and enclosures were sent to Carol Hughes following her husband's death and relate to posthumous publication and the possibility of a biography about Hughes being written. A fragment of a copy letter sent to Faber and Faber by Hughes about the typeface of 'Selected Poems' and a copy of notes and corrections, which appear to relate to a Plath publication sent to the publishers are also included.
