Scope and Content

Mill Lane, Reading, looking north-eastwards to the old water-works, with St. Giles's Mill behind. There appear to be sluices in the bank of the mill-stream by the pumping-station, with its square-sectioned tapering brick chimney. A weather-vane is visible on top of the water-tower.
