On waiting for Uncle Syd at the Loudon Hotel, Syd[ney] interviewing parents and boys, getting forms and labels for the R[oyal] A[cademy], going to Gower Street, thinking of going home, calling on 'The Old Reeve', selling furniture from Reading as it is too expensive to move it to Coniston, Barbara's card, sending a miniature of Ursula to the R[oyal] A[cademy], the Art Department staff coming to supper, going to Mr[s?] Childs for tea with Ursula, going to the Pens, Mr Cooke being ill but Ursula seeing a nurse who hoped there was a chance of him pulling through.
