Scope and Content

On poppy seeds, the weather, the children having colds, a drawing by the children which were once enclosed [but are not with the collection], the children's clothing, the prospect of Ruthie visiting, when Dorrie might have to go to Clifton for dental work, Gershom being away lecturing, illustrating pages of Tennyson's 'Idylls [of the King]' for Mrs Holt, sending away Olga who was a bad housemaid, expecting her sister and cousin to come, and hoping that Mr Collingwood is recovering.
