In this manuscript letter Rigby provides Owen with an account of the progress he has made with tasks carried out on Owen's behalf. This includes sending Owen copies of several newspapers in which he had placed an advertisement.
The ongoing conflict regarding Sunday usage has seen the "Saints" try and stop Sunday lectures at the John Street Institute and also the City Road Institute [both London]. Rigby warns they [those wanting to keep Sunday for religious purposes] "had better be quiet or the People will be up and if so - who will put them down?
