Scope and Content

Alexander Werth to W. P. Crozier.

Location: Paris.

He has met with Vienot, the under-secretary for Foreign Affairs; he would have liked to have known his stance on the League, Anglo-French relations and various 'emergencies'. He makes the point that it is not a good idea for other correspondents to make a habit of coming to Paris. He has heard that Dell will be in Paris again next week. Philip Carr will deputise for him during his holidays. He might be able to visit England and August and possibly see him.
