Copy letter from Cummington Press regarding a letter received from Kimon Friar, editor of the Borzoi book of modern verse, requesting to include all of Notes in the volume. Williams' exhibition at Amherst has been postponed and the picture belonging to Stevens will be needed for longer. Reply from Stevens relating to his meeting with Mr Knopf regarding sales for the remaining copies of Notes. Other topics that Stevens has discussed with Knopf include the publication of a new book and his feelings toward the Press' publication of Esthetique. With copy reply: Duncan informs Stevens that he has messaged Kimon Friar that it would be impractical to include all of Notes in the same volume. He estimates that there will be very few copies left for Stevens to buy.
