5 November 1648 Articles of agreement for the settlement and eventual division of the estates late of Peter Bland between (1) Joan Langhorne, widow and eldest surviving daughter of said Peter, (2) John Marden son and heir of Susan another daughter of Peter (3) Thomas Lane and wife Joyce, daughter of Judith another daughter of Peter)and John Curie and wife Katherine daughter of the same Judith. They appoint John Swayle of Hutton as bailiff of the Yorkshire manors and lands for 1 year.
