Papers relating to A Passionate Woman (1989-90), EF's TV series based on the life of Marie Charlotte Carmichael Stopes (1880-1958). Stopes was a British author, palaeobotanist and campaigner for eugenics and women's rights. She was the first female academic on the faculty of the University of Manchester.
