typed notes by W.R. Brock, regarding the journal of John Munn, 1867. The Journal is held by the Chicago historical society. [S.d.] brock only has the following to say about the journal.
A very long, highly detailed and extremely verbose diary of a trip to Scotland undertaken in 1867. Munn's ponderous tribute to porridge ('this delightful article of food') is a good example of his prose style.
