'The Voyage of the QV66'

20 pen and ink illustrations on cartridge paper, 19 of them black & white and one of them colour, for Penelope Lively's book. Some of the illustrations have been mounted for display, possibly for exhibition or sale at some point after the book was first printed. Several different systems of numbering can be seen in the annotations on the illustrations and it is not clear what they all refer to. Some illustrations are duplicated, very often with one being mounted and one not. Note is taken at item level of all annotations, and whether or not each illustration is mounted. The illustrations are arranged here according to the order in which they appeared in the final printed book but the contents of this file do not constitute a complete suite of illustrations for the book.
