Administrative / Biographical History
George Pellett was born in 1936 in Petworth, West Sussex. He spent two years in the National Service, later assisting the local photographer until he went to the Guildford School of Photography Stills & Film. In 1958 he got a job as a Film Cameraman with Southern TV (later Television South) working on documentaries, news and drama traveling the world until made redundant in 1992. George Pellett then became a freelance photographer until his retirement after 52 years in the business.
