Notes from lectures given by William Lowder, presumably given from his theatre in Southwark, made by R. P. Manning, of whom little is known. A note in the inside cover of both volumes indicates that the two volumes were allocated the reference number O 3019 viz. the Manchester Medical Society's 1890 library catalogue and have also since been allocated the reference M6 L57 as part of an alternative system.
