If he did otherwise, would be spending all his public life on the 'Suffrage platform'. Enlarges on the folly of men speaking for this cause. He speaks on the subject when answering questions at meetings on Socialism. Believes many anti-suffragists are really anti-democrats. Apologises for refusing [an invitation to speak?] at such length
