Scope and Content

This well-established online archive holds many thousands of images belonging to a diverse variety of art collections and is a well-utilised resource for students, teachers and researchers.

The archive holds a wealth of visual material, totalling over 100,000 images. All images are free and copyright cleared for use by the academic and learning communities. Subjects ranging from Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Sir Henry Dryden to Public Monuments and the collections of the London College of Fashion are represented.

The site also provides advice and case studies on building and maintaining digital art education collections, and links to detailed advice on creating digital images for use in learning projects.
