Beverley charters, c.1275-1388/9. This series of charters concerns predominantly land in Beverley, Yorkshire. The greatest proportion relate to the families of burgess, Thomas de Castell (d. before 1330) and his son-in-law, Robert de Neuland (d. c.1314), within the dates c.1275-c.1346; there are also charters relating to other individuals; amongst the surviving seals are those of of the Beverley tailor, William Scheldware, and of women, such as Agnes de Castell and Isabella de Burton.
