Double-page spread for pages 10-11 of 'The Bad Child's Book of Moral Verse', written and illustrated by Charlotte Hough. The spread features a blank page 10 facing a watercolour illustration on page 11. A paper frame has been pasted over the spread, with a sheet of clear cellophane attached to it, forming a layer between the frame and the spread. A typed copy of the text which is to be printed on page 10 is taped to the frame, and the frame is annotated with page numbers.
The illustration on page 11 appears, at some point, to have been cut out of the spread with a knife, and then subsequently taped back into position in the spread. The reason for this is unclear.
