Scope and Content

Pen and ink line drawing by Charlotte Hough for the Puffin edition of 'Black Beauty', written by Anna Sewell. The illustration is window-mounted in card, and is annotated with the title, an extract from the text, and sizing instructions for the printer. The illustration is numbered '12' in the top right corner, and appears on page 129 of the book.
