Administrative / Biographical History

Clydeside Constructional Co Ltd was first incorporated on the 4th of December, 1919  . The company was credited with the development of a method of laying continuous concrete kerb. This method was used until the 1950s then abandoned as it was difficult to carry out remedial work. The company was dissolved in 1992  .

This collection was found in the attic of the former premises of Clydeside Constructional Co Ltd. The photographs were handed in to the Ballast Trust, Johnstone and subsequently deposited at GUAS
