Copy of an address made by the Committee of Organisation for forming a Provisional Government. Contents refer to civil liberties and to the common interest of the rich and poor man in the defence of property. Refers to the Revolution in Spain and points out the dangers of despotism. Dated Glasgow 1820.


The reason for the inclusion of this address within the archive may be due to civil unrest in the period following the French Revolution and the Peterloo Massacre of 1819.
