  • Accounts, 1920-1934 (The volume continued to be used after the transfer of responsibilities to the Diocesan Board of Finance, and so includes the Diocesan Board of Finance's Property & Trust Committee general & general purposes accounts 1931-1934)
  • Trust registers (Realty & Personalty), 1897-1927

Administrative / Biographical History

The York Diocesan Trust was constituted in April 1896 to look after existing and new trusts founded in the diocese. The last meeting of the Trust took place on 13 September 1926, at which the Trustees resolved to hand over the Trust's responsibilities to the Diocesan Board of Finance Property & Trust Committee. This took effect from 1927.
