Scope and Content

B&W photographic print. 'Ao, Mongsen group, 1926. Pangchonglila and her husband Lanu of Longchang. He wears a broad apron richly decorated with cowries, as are his fringed wristlets. His necklaces are of beads and the inner part of the conch shell. His wife wears crystal or glass square cut ear ornaments, tongbang, necklaces of cornelian and trumpet shaped beads and a body cloth with a checked pattern. (See also PP MS 59 image number W.031)'
