B&W photographic print. 'Door of a Morung. This was an old Naga village reduced from 60 to 13 houses, but Mills noted that the decorations of the Morung were the best he had seen in the area. In this .photograph, the wooden framework of the bamboo walls is carved and painted with various designs. These include numerous circles possibly symbolising heads, human figures, men riding elephants and a horse, cocks, antelope and other animals and symbols.'
