Scope and Content

B&W photographic print. 'The Tippera people in the main are identical in their material culture to the Chakmas, but a less developed group lives in the Banderban area, and are said to be the descendants of Tippera slaves taken to the Arakan. This boy wears the typical white waist cloth with black ends and a small puggaree with the ends over the right ear.'
