Scope and Content

B&W photographic print. 'This large village is on a flat-topped spur, the neck of which is defended by the double wall of stone shown in this photograph of the entrance way. Against the wall are artificially shaped hook topped stones, about 2.5 feet (76cm.) high, whose purpose is unknown. They may possibly be the broken halves of two small arches.'
