B&W photographic print. 'The Gaonbura (Government's post or 'headman') of Merangkong wears three rows of boar's tusks around his neck. Nearly everyone wears one or two rows, three are reserved for very successful warriors and head-hunters. The photograph was taken in the garden of Mill's bungalow at Mokokchung, where many visitor used to come along.'
