Datalink was a proposed online link to the University of Manchester Atlas by UMIST. The UMIST principal Vivian Bowden proposed the scheme as part of a plan to expand computing activities at UMIST. The file includes some more general matters relating to UMIST's computing facilities and use of the Atlas.
