Scope and Content

Lecture was given during Rodger's visit to the Soviet Union. He mentions different approaches to psychiatry between the Soviet Union and the UK/USA and criticism from the Soviety Union towards the use of psychoanalysis in theWestern world.

Also includes copies of letters written by Professor Polesciuk and Professor Protopopov discussing the Rodger's views on psychiatry in the lecture he gave to the Soviet Union. These were sent to Rodger by Ivanov of the Ukranian Society for Cultural Relations in the West (original copies in Russian plus translations).
