Covers developments in the understanding, care and treatment of mental and nervous disorders in recent years and the reasons behind the increse in admissions to mental hospitals.
Includes a sheet of paper with rough notes (possible hospital admission numbers) written on the reverse of a hand-out with an overview of the names and times of 2 weeks of lectures for the Postgraduate course in Psychological Medicine at the Department of Psychological Medicine at the University of Glasgow. Classes include: legal and administrative psychiatry, mental defect, psychosomatics, psychopathy, social psychiatry. It does seem to appear that these topics were taught on both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
With minor corrections.
